Inspiration Through Photo-books.

Welcome to another blog post. Today we will look at some of my favorite photo-books, and recent pick-ups. Three photo-books that have inspired my approach:

1. "Songbook" by Alec Soth– Soth’s work captures community life and personal interactions, resonating with my goal of showcasing everyday village stories.

2. "Spanish Summers" by Gerry Johansson– Johansson’s evocative landscapes inspired me to portray Wackenborner’s character, highlighting its atmosphere and subtle beauty.

3. "These Dark Mountains" by Giulia Degasperi – Degasperi’s work explores the poetic and mysterious aspects of landscapes, inspiring me to capture the emotional depth of Wackenborner.

The project is in progress; I’m developing the film, with more to come soon! - T
